Lucknow: Along with the Lok Sabha elections (2024), by-elections will also be held on four assembly seats of UP (UP News). These seats are Dadraul, Lucknow East, Gansadi and Duddhi. Elections will be held in Dadraul in the fourth phase on 13 May, in Lucknow in the fifth phase on 20 May, in Gansadi in the sixth phase on 25 May, and in Duddhi on 1 June in the seventh phase. Voting will be held on all these seats along with the Lok Sabha elections.
Seats vacant due to death of three MLAs, one going to jail
Dadrauli assembly, Lucknow former seat of Shahjahanpur Lok Sabha has become vacant due to the death of BJP MLA. The Gasdi seat has become vacant due to the death of SP MLA. Duddhi seat has become vacant due to BJP MLA being jailed. Elections are being held on all these seats.
