UP News: Aligarh bank employees, adamant on the demand for recruitment in the bank, demonstrated against outsourcing.

Aligarh: On the call of All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA), in support of the demand for proper recruitment in banks and as part of the nationwide movement against outsourcing, the Aligarh unit of Uttar Pradesh Bank Employees Union organized a strong protest and demonstration near the regional office of Canara Bank, Sutmile Square. Did. Hundreds of employees of the district were present in it. The Association Minister also said that adequate recruitment is not being done in clerical and subordinate cadres including part-time employees in banks in a planned manner. There has been a huge decline in the number of recruitment in clerical cadre in the last years. There has been no recruitment of subordinate employees in most of the banks in the last few years.

Bank services are declining due to lack of recruitment

District Minister of UP Bank Employees Union, Jitendra Kumar said that due to lack of recruitment of adequate staff in banks, customer services are declining and due to increase in workload on the existing employees, the quality of their work is also being affected. In many branches, employees are unable to complete their daily work within office hours and are forced to sit for long hours. As a result, work related stress is increasing and employees are finding it difficult to deal with it. In such a situation, due to shortage of employees, leave of the employees is also rejected by the local branch management. In such a situation, women employees are also facing a lot of problems. It is ironical that while the top management employees are many times the officers in the branches are also forced to sit at the counter and do routine clerical work. Non-filling of vacancies of subordinate and part-time employees is resulting in appointment of temporary employees in banks. Due to which outsourcing and legal complications are increasing. This is also due to their clear move to make banks officer oriented.

The workload in banks has increased

There has been a huge increase in the total business in banks in the last years and due to competition among banks every year new services or new products are being introduced for the customers day by day. Traditional banking has given way to product banking. Many services have been launched including the sale of third party products. Also the traditional banking system business has doubled. However, recruitment is not commensurate with the increase in workload. The workload has increased manifold but the recruitment done by banks is nominal.

The number of employees in banks is less

Despite increase in workload after merger in many banks, there has been a huge decline in recruitment. So in some there has been no recruitment in the last few years. It is learned that the government has instructed banks not to make recruitment in this regard. The volume of business has increased manifold. But due to inadequate number of employees, the counter staff are finding it difficult to provide courteous and quality customer service to the bank customers. Due to so many vacancies in the banks of the country, there is a strong demand for immediate recruitment of clerical and subordinate employees in the banks. So that good customer service can be provided to bank customers and banks can contribute well to the development of the country.
