After getting approval from there, orders to give bonus to non-gazetted employees and increased dearness allowance to all state employees and teachers will be issued soon. In case of four percent increase in dearness allowance and dearness relief, the expenditure on the state government’s treasury will be approximately Rs 300 crore every month. Bonus is given to non-gazetted employees as per the rate fixed by the Central Government. According to this, each employee will get a maximum bonus of Rs 7000. After the announcement of giving bonus to non-gazetted employees, there will be an expenditure of about Rs 1025 crore on the government treasury. The number of non-gazetted employees in Uttar Pradesh is around 14.82 lakh.

DA of state employees will increase to 46 percent

If the announcement of giving dearness allowance at an increased rate of 4 percent from July 2023 is made, the DA of state employees will increase from 42 percent to 46 percent. After the approval of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, employees will get the benefit of dearness allowance at the increased rate from July. About 10 lakh state employees and 8 lakh teachers will get the benefit of DA increase. With the increase in dearness allowance, the rate of dearness relief for 12 lakh pensioners will also increase by four percent. It is expected that once the Uttar Pradesh government announces DA-DR increase, it will start getting benefits from the November salary.

Benefit has been received in October 2022 also

In October last year, it was announced to give bonus to non-gazetted employees, in which it was announced to give Rs 6908 to each employee as bonus. The employees who were connected to GPF were given 25 percent bonus in cash and 75 percent of the amount in their GPF account. Was. For those employees who did not have a GPF account, an order was given to give 75 percent of the amount in NSC and PPF. There was an increase of four percent in DA-DR given in July last year also. There was an order to give the benefit of DA-DR increase from October salary and pension. The state government’s announcement of giving bonus and DA-DR together resulted in an expenditure of Rs 1436 crore on the treasury.
