For the elections in 13 local bodies of Agra, the nomination process was completed by hundreds of candidates till April 17. After which the nomination papers were to be scrutinized on 18 April. In such a situation, now a total of 1366 candidates are in the fray in 13 civic bodies of Agra. The withdrawal of nominations will take place on Thursday and symbols will be allotted to the candidates on Friday.

But the investigation report of the nomination papers revealed that the number of candidates which should have decreased has increased to 395.
