In such a situation, now a total of 1366 candidates are in the fray in 13 civic bodies of Agra. Till April 17, nominations were done for 100 wards and the administration released the report saying that 580 candidates have filed nominations for councillors.

But the investigation report of the nomination papers revealed that the number of candidates which should have decreased has increased to 395.
