Lucknow. Yogi Adityanath’s government has sent a proposal of six names for the Legislative Council on behalf of BJP to Governor Anandiben Patel. The seats are lying vacant since April-May last year. After which now the long wait of ten months seems to be over. Many big names are included in the names sent by the Yogi government to the Legislative Council. According to the information received from sources, Rajnikant Maheshwari (Former Regional President, Braj BJP), Saket Mishra (Member of Purvanchal Development Board, son of Nripendra Mishra), Lalji Prasad Nirmal (Ambedkar Mahasabha), Tariq Mansuri (VC AMU), Ramsubhag Rajbhar (Advocate, Azamgarh), Hansraj Vishwakarma (BJP District President, Kashi) have been sent for nomination.

Nripendra Mishra is currently the chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee. Along with this, he is also a member of Purvanchal Development Board. Saket Mishra is a graduate in Economics from St. Stephen’s, Delhi and an MBA from IIM Calcutta. Saket Mishra also became IPS in 1994, but then left the job of IPS and started working in the bank. Saket Mishra is now active in politics after holding good positions in many international banks.

Lalji Prasad Nirmal Baba Saheb is the President of Dr. Ambedkar Mahasabha Trust. Along with this, he is the chairman of the Scheduled Castes Finance Development Corporation. Dr. Lalji Prasad Nirmal was elected chairman of the management committee in the first week of March for the operation of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial and Cultural Center. While AMU Vice Chancellor Tariq Mansoor was earlier the principal of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Hospital. He has been Professor of the Department of Surgery in AMU. AMU Vice Chancellor Tariq Mansoor is also a member of the Academic Advisory Committee.
