UP: IIT Kanpur will teach security technology, applications will be till April 30, know full details

Kanpur: IIT (IIT) will teach real time cyber security techniques to SC and ST students. This training is free. The training workshop organized by C3i Hub was inaugurated at the Outreach Center in Noida. C3iHub officially launched its cyber security skilling program with its incubated startup Threat Guardians Pvt Ltd and workers union support in collaboration with Department of Science & Technology, Government of India under NM-ICPS mission.

The objective of the program is to provide the learners with a deep understanding of the technical fundamentals of cyberspace and cyber issues. Introducing real-time cyber security techniques and methods and focusing on models, tools and techniques for implementing security. The program was inaugurated by Vijay Sampla, chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes in Noida.

Applications will be till 30 April

In security technology, candidates will be given information about system security, malware analysis, network security, cryptography, internet of things security. SC and ST category candidates can apply till April 30. This application will be free of cost.

Cybercrime is a big problem

Vijay Sampla appreciated C3iHub for its contribution in the field of cyber security and its efforts to train and empower students in the cyber security sector and also discussed about various programs under the National Commission for Scheduled Castes of India. He said that Cybercrime is one of the biggest problems these days. What we are facing and C3iHub is playing its role very well to ensure a secure cyber world.

Will teach cyber security to students from the basic level

Prof. Manindra Agarwal, Project Director, C3i Hub said that it will help students to learn from basic to advanced level of cyber security. Which will prepare them for the future. The program is being run in collaboration with C3iHub Incubated Start-ups, Threat Guardians Pvt Ltd and WUS. The program is free of cost for SC/ST students and a nominal fee for non-SC/ST students. The deadline for admission is 30 April. The cyber security skills program will be conducted online, making it Will be accessible to the learners from anywhere in the country.
