The Chief Minister said that officers should visit the area and keep an eye on the relief work. The permissible relief amount should be distributed immediately to the people affected by the disaster.

The Chief Minister said that in case of water logging, effective arrangements should be made for drainage. Along with this, after assessing the damage caused to the crops, the report should be made available to the government, so that compensation amount can be provided to the affected farmers as per rules.

More than 200 sheep died due to lightning in Unnao

Whereas Rajkumar Pal, resident of village Muraira in Nawabganj development block of Unnao district, more than 200 sheep died due to lightning. On Monday, when he reached the place where sheep were kept, he got the information. They have suffered a loss worth lakhs of rupees due to the death of sheep. Yellow alert of heavy rain has been issued in Kanpur, Barabanki, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Auraiya, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas. School holiday in Lucknow

Commissioner Roshan Jacob took to the streets in Lucknow and took stock
