UP Flood: Yamuna breaks all records, floods wreak havoc in 11 districts of UP, people vacate houses in villages

UP Yamuna flood: Lucknow: In many areas of Uttar Pradesh, 11 districts of the state are affected by floods due to the continuous rains for the last several days and the release of water from the dams. At the same time, during the last 24 hours in the state, four people have died in rain-related accidents. According to the information received from the Relief Commissioner’s office, 386 villages located in 17 tehsils of 11 districts of the state are in the grip of flood and a total of 78,693 people have been affected by the flood. Maximum 61,490 people are affected in Muzaffarnagar. 4,242 people have been kept in relief camps in flood affected areas. During the last 24 hours, four people have died in rain-related incidents in the state, including one each in Farrukhabad, Balrampur, Kanpur Nagar and Baghpat.
