Lucknow News: Capital Lucknow A case of fraud of Rs 85 lakh has come to light from a property dealer and his brother by posing as PS to the Union Home Minister. The thug and his associates demanded extortion of Rs 2 crore from both the brothers. He also threatened to implicate him in a false case if the amount was not paid. In this case, an FIR has been lodged in Gomtinagar police station against eight named persons including the thug couple and other unknown persons. Ashish Kohli’s brother Goldie, who lives in Saraswatipuram, Gomtinagar, capital Lucknow, is a property dealer. Goldie is facing a case in the National Company Law Tribunal. Both the brothers had been trying for a long time to get its stay rejected. During this time, he met Ghaziabad resident Nitin Gupta, his wife Shikha Gupta and his acquaintance Varun Chauhan. According to Ashish Kohli, during the meeting, Nitin told that he is the PS of a Union Minister, while Varun is the PS of the Home Minister. Both of them talked about getting the stay canceled and demanded Rs 12 lakh for it. Ashish and his brother fell into the trap and agreed to it. A few days later, Nitin and Varun gave an NCLT order to Ashish to cancel the stay. However, this order was not uploaded on the tribunal’s website. Later investigation revealed that Nitin and Varun embezzled Rs 12 lakh by placing fake orders.
Threatened to send him to jail if he asked for money
Ashish Kohli told Lucknow Police that Nitin told both of us brothers that he can get a project worth Rs 180 crore for his NGO from the Central Government. After completing the paperwork, Rs 10 crore will be given in advance. He charged Rs 20 lakh for this work. Here also fraud took place and no amount of money came into the bank accounts of Ashish and Goldie within the stipulated time. After this, when Ashish Kohli asked to return his money, he came to know that Varun was trying to take possession of his land by making fake documents. Used to be.
When his secret was exposed, he demanded Rs 2 crore and if it was not given, he threatened to implicate him in a case and send him to jail. According to Ashish Kohli, his brother Goldie deposited Rs 50 lakh in Varun’s wife’s account. Later another three lakh rupees were given. In this way Varun and Nitin collected a total of Rs 85 lakh from Ashish and Goldie.
The accused have deep penetration from NCLT to government departments.
According to Ashish, he had no acquaintance with Nitin. He had called and said that he can get the stay in his case pending in NCLT dismissed. Obviously the gang committed the fraud as part of a conspiracy. This shows that the accused have deep penetration from NCLT to government departments. It is important to disclose this.
Nitin, Shikha, Varun, Ravi Chauhan, Kavita Chauhan, Devendra Singh, Vivek, Vaibhav and others have been made accused in the FIR. Ashish told that Devendra Singh and Vivek, who are among the accused, are inspectors in UP Police. Both of them are currently posted in Mathura district. Both of them help the gang as police. However, this has not been confirmed yet. According to ADCP East Syed Ali Abbas, the facts regarding all the allegations are being investigated, after which the conclusion can be reached.
Have defrauded crores of rupees till now
It is alleged that all the people involved in the gang have defrauded crores of rupees till now. These people work with complete planning. In these, the role of Nitin’s wife Shikha is very important. Rajasthan Police has arrested the members of this gang in 2019. Then the SOG wing of Rajasthan Police had exposed the fraud of thousands of people by Nitin and Shikha. Shikha used to call herself a member of the Central Film Censor Board. These people used to cheat in the name of getting certificate from the Censor Board and getting jobs in Railways and other government departments.
Accused Nitin is originally a resident of Aligarh. Earlier he used to work in a construction company of Meerut. Where he met Shikha who worked in the marriage bureau. Nitin had a second marriage with Shikha. Since then, both of them, along with their other associates, have defrauded people in different parts of the country. The police have investigated the matter.
