UP Budget 2024: Rs 195 crore will be spent for sports arrangements in all the districts of the state.

While presenting the budget in the Assembly, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that our government has resolved to provide 1 trillion dollars to the state’s economy. At present, through vocational education and skill development mission in 804 government and 729 aided schools of secondary level, arrangements have been made for vocational education as well as certification in 301 government schools under the Praveen scheme. To provide long-term and short-term employment training to the youth, government industrial training institutes are being upgraded and new centers are also being established in underserved areas with the participation of private institutions. Even in higher education institutions, 113 colleges have been selected for the study of skill-based course BBA in retail, logistics, healthcare and tourism and hospitality. To improve vocational education, a practical, vocational orientation program will be run for students of classes 6 to 8. At the secondary level, schools will be developed as a hub and spokes model to improve the vocational education scheme in the financial year 2024-2025. According to ODOP, there is also a plan to conduct courses as per National Curriculum Framework and National Credit Framework to more and more students in job role/sector. In this, work will be done to provide UP Board certificate as well as computer education certificate on passing 12th through National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology.
