Student who tried to commit suicide by hanging in KGMU dies, was undergoing treatment for 7 days
Shilpi, a first year MBBS student of KGMU in Lucknow, had committed suicide by hanging herself seven days ago i.e. on Wednesday. Saved him when his roommate raised an alarm. He was immediately admitted to the trauma center. The student was undergoing treatment on ventilator. He died during treatment on Thursday. According to the university administration, the admission took place only a month ago. In such a situation, there can be no pressure to study. Shilpi’s father is a civil engineer. He had got Shilpi admitted a month ago. She lived in room number 208 of the hostel of the medical college. At present, investigation is going on on ragging and family angle.
