UP Board: Face reading of candidates will be done at examination centres, fake students will be controlled

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education is going to take strict steps to stop cheating and fake candidates in UP Board Exam 2024. For this, preparations are also being made to arrange face reading at the 12th board examination centres. The faces of the candidates appearing in the board examination will be scanned.

By scanning the face, the machine will match it with the photo present in the database. Every year UP Board makes every possible effort to stop cheating and rigging. Which includes measures like installation of CCTV cameras and voice recorders at examination centers and bar codes on copies.

The system of bar codes on UP Board exam copies was started in Board Exam 2023. In this sequence, to prevent cheating, UP Board is making the process of determining the examination centers online this time.

After resolving the errors in the examination centers determined by the UP Board examination centers and resolving the objections received from students, parents and managers, the last date for uploading the list again on the board’s website is December 2. Whereas the final list of examination centers will be released on December 10.

Let us tell you that a total of 55 lakh 8 thousand 206 students have registered for the UP Board 10th and 12th examinations. Of these, 29 lakh 47 thousand 324 students are for high school and 25 lakh 60 thousand 882 are for intermediate.
