Lucknow: UP Board Exam examinations are starting from 22nd February and will continue till 9th March. The government has made extensive arrangements to make the examinations free from cheating. LIU will be deployed especially to monitor sensitive and hypersensitive examination centres. The entire focus of the government is on security arrangements. For this, a foolproof plan has been made for the security of the strong room and the collection center of answer sheets. Besides, coordination has also been established with other departments.
This time 29,47,325 students have registered in High School and 25,77,965 students have registered in Intermediate. A total of 55,25,290 students have registered for both the examinations. The board has created a total of 8265 centers across the state for the examination. In which the number of government examination centers is 566, funded examination centers are 3479 and unfunded examination centers are 4220.
