UP ATS arrested 5 Naxalites including woman in Ballia, Naxalite activity after 15 years stirred administrative department

Lucknow: UP ATS has arrested five naxalites including woman in Ballia. All of them were having a secret meeting in a hut to expand their Naxalite organization through mask organizations and to increase activities in Purvanchal. Naxalite literature, pamphlets, handwritten messages, a laptop, nine mobile phones, a nine mm pistol and other items were recovered from their possession. He is said to be the most hardcore Naxalites ever. They execute big incidents against the government.

In fact, ATS arrested Tara Devi alias Manju alias Manisha, Lallu Ram alias Arun Ram, Satya Prakash Verma, Ram Murat and Vinod Sahni by raiding Basantpur village of Sahatwar police station area. According to the information, Tara Devi has taken Naxal training in the jungles. Naxalite activity in the district after 15 years has created a stir in the administrative department.

According to ATS, CPI (Maoist) Naxalite organization was secretly getting information about expansion of Naxalite activities in border districts of UP, Bihar and Jharkhand. These people were preparing to raise an armed rebellion within the country through mask organizations.

Women members were involved in many Naxalite incidents

Tara Devi alias Manju alias Manisha, an active member of the women’s squad, has been associated with the organization since 2005. She has been involved in many Naxalite incidents. She was busy recruiting new people for the organization. She was working for the party to collect weapons from donations.

Tara Devi had done the famous Madhuban bank robbery case in collaboration with the Naxalites, in which for the first time the Naxalites came to the city and looted the bank and market while firing indiscriminately with sophisticated weapons. After which Tara Devi was also caught by the police along with Naxalite Satish alias Ram Pravesh Baitha alias Ravi ji.

ATS in preparation for remand

ATS sources said that investigation revealed that all of them do not use mobile to communicate with the Central Committee members. They send messages through some messenger, slip, memory card, pen drive or other means to convey the message. ATS is preparing to take the arrested accused on custody remand.

Administration lost sleep due to Naxalite attack in Ballia

In the year 2008, Sohan Singh of the village was shot dead in Saharspali of Sadar Kotwali. There was a stir in the administration when the clue of Naxalite activity was found in the police investigation. The entire area was turned into a police camp. An intensive checking campaign was conducted, in which weapons, bombs and other prohibited items were recovered from many houses. Many people were also arrested. Many families associated with Naxal activities had migrated.

Three years after this, in 2012, in Kushahar village of Sahatwar police station area, the Naxalites who came in police uniform, the head of Kushahar village, Phoolmati Devi, was killed. Chhote Kahar was also an accused in this. Former Kotedar Krishna Kumar, accused in the Pradhan murder case, was shot dead two years later by miscreants. Krishna Kumar had an enmity with Pradhan due to the suspension of the quota shop. Prior to this, the police used to be alert about Naxalite activity in Sahatwar police station.

Chhote was arrested after 15 years

Chhote, accused of the murders in both the Naxalite attacks, was arrested last month by the police from Nagra police station after 15 years. A fake Aadhaar card in the name of Prakash was recovered. He was living in Telangana by changing his name. The police had issued a challan against the arrested accused by registering a case against the arrested accused on the charges of Arms Act and forged documents.
