UP AQI Today: In many areas of UP including NCR, people are facing a lot of problems due to pollution on Sunday. The poisonous air is having a major impact on the eyes and lungs. The situation is such that it is becoming difficult to walk on the roads and due to this haze even the sun is not visible. All claims to stop pollution are proving to be unsuccessful and AQI is continuously reaching dangerous levels. The climate of Bareilly is also in bad condition. Subhash Nagar of the city was the most polluted on Sunday morning. The air quality index (AQI) of Subhash Nagar was 158, while that of Civil Lines was 149 and that of Rajendra Nagar was 144. All three are in poor condition. Bareilly’s AQI was 201 at four in the morning. But, at 8 am on Sunday morning it had reached 150. The air of Bareilly has remained poisonous for many days. This is quite dangerous for health. But, those responsible are not concerned about this. Along with Bareilly, the air of Badaun, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur is also getting worse. It is difficult for respiratory patients here to breathe. Doctors are advising respiratory patients, children and old people not to leave the house. You should also wear a mask before leaving the house.

20 districts of UP among 100 polluted cities of the world

Pollution is increasing very fast in UP. Hapur here ranks 10th among the 100 polluted cities of the world. The AQI here was 443 on Sunday morning. Meerut’s AQI is 431 at 11th place. Ghaziabad’s AQI is 416 at 13th place, Noida’s 412 at 14th place, Kairana’s 333 at 24th place, Bulandshahr’s 324 at 27th place, Muzaffarnagar’s 350 at 29th place, Aligarh’s 318 at 30th place, UP at 32nd place. Capital Lucknow’s 312, Etawah’s 306 at 35th place, Fatehpur’s 305 at 38th place, Kanpur’s 304 at 39th place, Sitapur’s 302 at 40th place, Hathras’ 297 at 41st place, Firozabad’s 279 at 50th place, 51st place Gorakhpur’s AQI is 294, Allahabad (Prayagraj) at 6th place is 247, Vrindavan at 69th place is 242, Faizabad at 77th place is 237 and Mathura is at 81st place is 233. All these AQI are in very poor condition. The oxygen level of inhaled air should be 19.5 percent oxygen. Oxygen going below this causes harm.

Plants are becoming weak due to excess pollution, yield is decreasing

Increasing water, air and soil pollution is becoming an important factor in climate change. Due to increasing dependence on pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers for farming, the fertility of the land is weakening year by year. The crops are not able to tolerate even the slightest strong wind, rain and heat. Farmers are suffering as a result. Crop production has started declining.

Wear a mask when you leave the house, know how to take care

The increase in AQI is significantly affecting the health of children and the elderly. In such a situation, there is a need to take precautions while leaving the house. People may have health related problems. Doctors are advising to leave the house wearing N-95 mask. Because, the number of respiratory patients has increased significantly in Bareilly. Bareilly’s AQI is in poor condition. If AQI is 0 to 50, then it is a very good thing. It has less effect on health. 51-100 AQI is also fine, but sensitive people may have mild respiratory problems. Not good after 101. Lung, heart and asthma patients have difficulty in breathing due to AQI of 101 to 200. 201-300 AQI is quite bad. Anyone living in such an environment for a long time is bound to have breathing problems. 301-400 AQI is very bad. There is a risk of respiratory disease if there is a long stay in such an environment. 401-500 AQI is the most dangerous.
