Khunti/Simdega(Chandan/Ravikant): Union Minister cum Khunti MP Arjun Munda has said that one Eklavya Model Residential School is being opened in all the blocks of tribal areas. 740 Eklavya schools will be opened across the country. A total of 480 students will study in a school consisting of 240 boys and 240 girls. The Union Minister was addressing the public after laying the foundation stone for the construction of Eklavya Model Residential School at Saridkel and Murhu of Torpa block on Friday. He said that in the coming times, Eklavya Vidyalaya will prove to be a milestone in the field of education and from here, scientists, engineers, doctors etc. will bring glory to the country. Here, the foundation stone of various schemes was laid and inaugurated by Union Minister Arjun Munda in Kolebira, Simdega. He first unveiled the stone slab of the community building near Deviguri in Kolebira. He said that Eklavya Vidyalaya, to be built at a cost of Rs 38 crore, will have all the facilities.

This is the objective of establishing Eklavya Vidyalaya

Union Minister cum Khunti MP Arjun Munda said that Eklavya Vidyalayas are being opened with the aim of providing good education even from Navodaya Vidyalayas. This is a true tribute to Lord Birsa Mund. The government is spending approximately Rs 30 thousand crores to build Eklavya Vidyalaya. All schools will also have the facility of computers and smart classes. The Union Minister said that 254 villages of Khunti district have been selected to be developed as Adi Adarsh ​​villages and its funds have also been made available to the state government. He said that the role of women is most important in the field of rural development. It is our responsibility to make the products of Mahila Mandals available in the market.

Efforts should be made to ensure that children get quality education: Kadiya Munda

Former Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha Padmabhushan Kadiya Munda said that efforts should be made in this direction to ensure that children get quality education in Eklavya Vidyalaya. He said that such schools should have been opened earlier, but the previous governments did not pay attention to this. He said that due to lack of opportunity this area could not develop as much as it should have. He said that the opening of Eklavya Vidyalaya will greatly benefit the people of this area.

All kinds of facilities will be provided to the students here. Due to which the students of Kolebira area will get a lot of benefit. Along with studies, facilities like sports, computers etc. will also be provided in the school. Eklavya Residential School is being constructed under the new education policy of the Central Government.

Teachers will be appointed soon

The Union Minister said that in view of the shortage of teachers in schools, teachers will be appointed soon. This project is worth more than Rs 38 crores which will be completed by 2025.
