Union Minister Arjun Munda met President Draupadi Murmu, informed about the achievements of PM Janman Yojana

central minister Arjun Munda On Thursday, he paid a courtesy visit to President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan and informed about the achievements made by the Prime Minister’s Tribal Justice Maha Abhiyan (PM Janman) in the last 2 months, especially in the field of welfare of Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG). An ambitious campaign like PM Janman was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15 November 2023 on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day. Through this mission, PVTG areas of 18 states and Union Territory (Andaman and Nicobar Islands) will be provided with roads, permanent houses, hostels, health, household electrification, construction of multipurpose centers and establishment of Anganwadi centres, mobile for telecom connectivity. The tower will be fully equipped with basic amenities like sustainable livelihood and clean drinking water from tap.

More than 11 lakh PVTG community people participated

Union Minister Arjun Munda informed President Draupadi Murmu that more than 8,000 shivars were organized within 2 months in remote areas including hilly and border areas of the country. More than 11 lakh people of PVTG community participated in it. In these camps, benefits like Aadhar Card, Ayushman Card, Forest Act Patta, registration for PM Kisan Card and PM Jan Dhan Yojana account, caste certificate and ration card etc. were provided.

This effort of Narendra Modi is moving from resolution to accomplishment.

It is the aim of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs that more than 50% of the schemes of this 3-year mission will be completed during the current financial year itself. Our Ministry is making continuous efforts in this regard along with other 8 Central Ministries. This effort of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is moving from resolution to accomplishment.
