Lucknow: The UP Police has declared Shaista Parveen, wife of mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed, a fugitive. There is a reward of 50 thousand rupees on Shaista Parveen, the wife of the mafia who has been absconding for a long time. Prayagraj police declared him officially absconder on Monday and also attached the house (297 / 205 F) located in Chakia area. The house on which attachment action has been taken by the police is in someone else’s name. After the murder of Umesh Pan, the police had already demolished this house. On Monday evening, at around 6.30 pm, a large number of police force of Dhumanganj police station executed their action.
The police made people cry by playing Dugdugi
During this action of attachment, the Prayagraj police also made a munadi by playing Dugdugi so that the people would have faith in the law. The police have also pasted a notice on the already demolished house. During this entire operation, the police had made strict security arrangements. Mafia Atiq’s wife Shaista Parveen is a named accused in the murder of former BSP MLA Raju Pal, the main witness in the murder case of Umesh Pal and two government gunners posted in his security. Umesh Pal was murdered on February 24 in Dhumanganj area of Prayagraj. Shaista Parveen is missing since the Umesh Pal murder case. She is not coming to the hands of the police. She did not even attend the funeral of husband Atiq Ahmed and son.
Electricity connection of attached house in the name of Shaista Parveen
The house 297 / 205 F of Shaista Parveen, on which the police has taken attachment action, was not an ancestral house. The family of Mafia Atiq Ahmed had been living in this house of Chakia after the bulldozer was used in the ancestral house. The registry of this house was done on January 7, 2021 in the name of Zafar Ahmed, brother-in-law of Khan Soulat Hanif, the lawyer of Mafia Atiq Ahmed. Before absconding, Shaista Parveen and her sons were living in this house. On March 1, a bulldozer was fired at this house. Action was taken on the basis of the electricity connection of this house being in the name of Shaista Parveen.
