Ultraviolette’s new bike arrives in cool look and new style

Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2: Ultraviolette, an electric two-wheeler manufacturing company in India, has launched F77 Mach 2 in the bike market with a cool look and new style. The company has introduced this electric bike in two variants, Standard and Recon. The performance, range and features of these two variants are different. Along with introducing this bike in the market, the company has also started booking it. It is being told that this bike can be booked for a token money of Rs 5,000.

Design of Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2

The design of Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is similar to the F77 electric bike already available in the market, but it has three different personalities Airstrike, Laser and Shadow. Different colors have also been given to match it. The performance, range and features of both variants of F77 Mach 2 are different. The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycle is built on a steel trellis frame. It has preload adjustable 41 mm inverted fork and preload adjustable monoshock suspension. For riding this bike, it has 17-inch alloy wheels, which are fitted with 110-section tires at the front and 150-section tires at the rear. For braking, 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes are provided with dual-channel ABS.

Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Battery Pack

According to media reports, the standard variant of Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 has a 7.1kWh battery pack, which gives a range of 211 kilometers on full charge. The electric motor installed in it is capable of generating power of 27 kW or 36.7 PS and torque of 90 Nm. Its top speed is 155 kilometers per hour. It takes 2.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 65 kilometers per hour and 7.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour. At the same time, the Recon variant has a battery pack of 10.3 kWh, which gives a range of 323 kilometers in full charge. The motor installed in this variant produces a power of 30 kW or 40.2 PS and a torque of 100 Nm. Its top speed is 155 kilometers per hour. It takes 2.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 65 kilometers per hour and 7.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour.

Charging time of Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2

Now if we talk about the charging time of Ultraviolette F77 Mac 2, then its standard variant takes 3 hours to charge 20 to 80 percent with a standard charger. Whereas, the Recon variant takes 5 hours. With the boost charger, the standard variant takes 1.5 hours to charge from 20 to 80 percent and the Recon variant takes 2.5 hours. With Ultraviolet Supernova Plus 12 kW fast charging, the standard variant takes 45 minutes to charge from 20 to 80 percent and the Recon variant takes 60 minutes.

Features of Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2

Talking about the features of Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, 3 level regeneration braking is provided in its standard variant. Whereas, Recon variant has 10 level regeneration breaking option. Apart from this, 3 level traction control is standard with the Recon variant, whereas it will be made available as an optional add-on in the standard variant. This electric bike has three ride modes: Glide, Combat and Ballistic. Apart from this, features like Charger Limit, Park Assist, Find My F77 and Deep Sleep/Vacation Mode are provided as standard, but Violet AI Geofencing/Delta Watch, Lockdown, Crash Alert and Daily Ride Analytics will have to be purchased separately.

Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Price and Competition

The starting price of Ultraviolette’s electric bike F77 Mach 2 standard variant in ex-showroom India is Rs 2.99 lakh, while its Recon is priced at Rs 3.99 lakh. The benefit of this introductory price will be given only to the first 1,000 customers. Its booking amount has been fixed at Rs 5,000 by the company and its delivery will start in a phased manner in May 2024. At present, it has no competition in the electric bike market.
