The ‘Uniform Civil Code, Uttarakhand-2024’ bill, introduced on the second day of the special session of the Assembly called to pass the UCC Bill, provides for uniform law on subjects like marriage, divorce, inheritance, property for all citizens irrespective of religion and community.
