Two youths gang-raped friend’s minor sister in a truck in Gumla.

A minor girl from Ghaghra block of Gumla district was gang-raped in a truck by her brother’s friend along with his guru. Both the accused have been arrested by Bishnupur police. On Monday, both were sent to judicial custody. While recording her statement before Bishunpur police, the victim said that truck driver Kalinder Kachhap, resident of Bagdu in Lohardaga district, currently lives next to my house in Ghaghra police station area. He is friends with my elder brother. In this sequence, he used to come and go to my house. Because of this we both became acquainted. He also used to talk to me on mobile. Due to Diwali festival, I had gone to my grandmother’s house in Banari of Bishunpur police station area on 13th November. Kalinder was calling me on the evening of 14th November. He called me repeatedly and told me that he would take me to visit the bauxite mines. When I reached the road to meet him, he forcibly made me sit in the truck. His friend Emmanuel Lakra, resident of Chingri Navatoli, was also present in that truck. After loading me into the truck, Kalinder told himself to drive the car, friend. Kalinder raped me in a moving truck. He took me to Kujam Mines in the truck. He raped me several times on the way.

Kalinder’s disciple also raped on return

On reaching Kujam, the girl repeatedly requested Kalinder to take her to her grandmother’s house in Banari, but he did not listen. During this, Kalinder also assaulted the girl. The girl has said in her complaint that when she repeatedly pleaded, Kalinder asked his friend Emmanuel to leave Banari. While coming home from Kujam, her friend also raped her. After this Banari left the girl. Then she reached her home in Ghaghra and informed her family about the incident. She said that she was raped many times, so her condition was not good. So she could not reach the police station immediately. On Sunday he recorded his statement in the police station.

Police arrested the accused

Here, after recording the statement of the victim, Bishnupur police took immediate action and arrested the accused bauxite truck driver and his friend. Along with this, the truck in which both of them raped the girl has also been confiscated. During interrogation of the accused, both of them confessed to their crime. Police said that after the confession of the accused, both were sent to judicial custody on Monday.
