Bihar Road Accident: On Friday, near Paya No. 32 of Patna’s Mahatma Gandhi Setu, the driver of the truck, Mohd. Hakim, who was coming to Hajipur after loading onions from Patna, collided with the cement load truck moving ahead due to falling asleep. Due to this, the front part of the truck loaded with onions went inside the truck and the driver got stuck in the middle of the steering wheel. The police took him out of the truck by cutting it with a gas cutter and admitted him to Sadar Hospital. The injured truck driver Mohd. Hakim is a resident of Patna. After this accident, there was a huge traffic jam on the bridge. There was traffic jam for about 20 km from Hajipur to Zero Mile, Pahari. Vehicles going from Patna to Hajipur and Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Bettiah, Samastipur, Darbhanga districts and from there towards Patna got stuck. It took six hours for people to reach Hajipur from Patna.
