The incident took place near south level crossing gate number 40C of Nazirganj railway station under Samastipur-Barauni railway section. Both the victims of the accident have been identified as Bhavesh Kumar, 15-year-old son of Bijo Sharma, resident of Banma Inthari, Bathnahi, Saharsa, and Prince Kumar Sharma, 26-year-old son of Shankar Sharma, resident of Purushottampur, Saran. In this regard, it seems difficult to find out the real reason of the incident. This will be clear only after administrative inquiry. Vaishali Express stopped there for some time after the incident, but after some time the train left for Samastipur.
