IPL Auction 2024: When the Indian Premier League (IPL) players were auctioned on Tuesday, two cricketers from Bihar were also bought by different teams. Shakib Hussain of Gopalganj and Sushant Mishra of Darbhanga were bid and both were included in their camp by different teams. The luck of two players from Bihar has shined in the auction. Darbhanga’s Sushant Mishra has been bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 2.20 crore and Gopalganj’s Saqib Hussain has been bought by KKR at the base price of Rs 20 lakh.

Left arm fast bowler Sushant Mishra, resident of Tumaul village of Alinagar block of Darbhanga, currently lives in Jharkhand with his parents and plays from there. Both have been selected for IPL in the auction that lasted till late Tuesday night in Dubai. Vipin Saurabh of Aurangabad could not find any buyer in this auction. After Indian team’s fast bowler Mukesh Kumar, resident of Gopalganj, now Saqib from the same district will also try his hand in IPL. Before this, Shakib was involved in Chennai Super Kings as a net bowler.
KKR bought Gopalganj’s Shakib for Rs 20 lakh.
Bihar Cricket Association player Shakib Hussain was included in the IPL auction by Kolkata Knight Riders team at a base price of Rs 20 lakh. Shakib is the son of Ali Ahmed Hussain, a resident of Dargah Sharif locality of Gopalganj. He is a right arm fast bowler. He will create magic in IPL with his swing bowling. Bihar will hope that Shakib makes his mark in IPL and becomes a part of the Indian team in future. Shakib’s coach Robin and former coach Satyaprakash Navrottam said that Shakib is a better bowler and he has got a better team in IPL. Darbhanga’s Sushant Mishra will play for Gujarat
Sushant Mishra, resident of Tumaul village of Lahta Tumaul Suhat Panchayat of Alinagar block area of Darbhanga, has been bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 2.20 crore. Sushant’s mother Mamta Mishra and father Sameer Kumar Mishra live in Jharkhand. Sushant also received his education from Jharkhand. His grandfather, retired teacher Krishna Dev Mishra is very happy on his grandson’s achievement. Let us tell you that Sushant Mishra plays cricket from Jharkhand. Sushant is the only child of his parents. Recently, he had also come to his village with his parents for Chhath festival. He is a left arm fast bowler.
