Two employees of JP Hyundai duped the car seller of more than 2.35 crores

Two employees of Jaypee Hyundai (a unit of Rama Auto Dealers Pvt. Ltd.) located near Piska Mod, cheated Rs.2,35,12,910 by entering fake data. In this case, a case has been registered in Pandra OP on the complaint of the company’s director Manish Kumar Jaiswal. Police has started investigation in the matter.

Accountant Anoop Karmakar, who lives near Ravi Steel Chowk, and cashier Nitish Prasad, resident of Alkapuri Carpenter Mohalla, have been accused of involvement in the cheating incident in the FIR. Both were working in the company for the last eight years. The complainant has told the police that the GST data was scrutinized by the company’s senior accountant, then the case of fraud came to light.

Both the employees used to distribute half the amount of fraud

When the officials of the company interrogated Anoop Karmakar in the matter, he told that he along with the cashier was cheating since the year 2019. Both used to share the cheated money in half. On being asked by the complainant, the cashier has told that he has made an FD of 14 lakhs out of the embezzled money. He has taken a flat in Devi Mandap Road for Rs.51,68,000. He has paid Rs 22 lakh of the total amount so far.

Along with lending 12 lakhs to one of his friends, he also gave jewelry worth 15 lakhs in cash and cash Rs 35 lakhs to his in-laws in Nashik. He has taken a policy of 30 lakhs in the name of his wife. He has so far paid Rs.6,80,000 towards its premium. Whereas in June 2023, he spent five lakhs in his sister’s marriage. He has kept Rs 12 to 15 lakh cash with him out of the embezzled money. But on being pressurized by the company, he has so far returned Rs 10.75 lakh.
