Two day Inter Technical University Sports Festival started in MMMUT campus, Vice Chancellor inaugurated it

The Dr. Abdul Kalam Inter Technical University Sports Festival competition will start from Friday at Madan Mohan Malviya Technological University, Gorakhpur. The two-day sports competition will be inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Professor JP Saini. 702 students from 12 technical institutes will compete in this competition. In two days, students including athletes will get an opportunity to showcase their talent in eight sports. The winning participants of this competition will participate in the state level inter-technical university sports competition to be held in Lucknow on 1st and 2nd December. President of the University Student Activities Council, Prof. Rakesh Kumar and Vice President Dr. Rajan Mishra said that for the first time, APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University has decided to organize a sports competition among the technical universities of the state. Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology has been made its zonal centre. He told that preparations have been completed for the competitions to be held from Friday. This competition will be held at the zonal level. MMMUT and 12 nearby technical institutes have agreed to participate in the competition.

Teams from these institutions will participate

Sardar Patel College of Pharmacy, Buddha Institute of Technology, BRD Medical College, Buddha Institute of Pharmacy, Tahira Institute of Medical Science Gorakhpur, KIPM College of Management, Acharya Narendra Dev College of Pharmacy, Gonda, ITM Gida, Government Engineering College Azamgarh, ITM The team from College of Pharmacy Maharajganj, LPM College of Pharmacy Deoria, and MMMUT is included.

These competitions will be organized

Under the competition, athletes will compete in 100, 200, 400, 800, 4×10 relay, long jump, high jump, disc throw, javelin throw. Apart from this, basketball, chess, badminton, kabaddi, table tennis, kho-kho, volleyball games will be organized in men’s and women’s categories.
