Although, companies like Bajaj Auto, Hero Electric etc. also make electric scooters, but these two startups are keeping the already established two-wheeler manufacturing companies at bay. But, now to oust these two startups, TVS Motor Company has recently launched its new electric scooter TVS X. The company has introduced this electric scooter on the Crayons concept. TVS first showcased it at the 2018 Auto Expo. Powerful motor, long range and many smart features can be seen in TVS X electric scooter. It is also being told that the company will start its delivery in December 2023.
Attractive design of TVS
You can see a sporty and futuristic design in TVS X electric scooter, which shows its high performance. Sharp lines, angular panels and LED lights can also be provided in this electric scooter. TVS X can be given a crossover design, some elements of which are visible from the scooter. Low height seat can also be seen in TVS X, it is 770 mm. Apart from this, you can get 20 liters of under seat storage in this scooter.
TVS X Powerful Performance
Let us tell you that TVS X is a powerful electric scooter. In this electric scooter you can see an electric motor giving a peak power output of 11 kilowatts. Apart from this, you are also given a 4.44 kWh lithium ion battery in this scooter. This electric scooter has a powerful motor, which has the ability to generate peak torque of 33 Nm. Thanks to the motor, the electric scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in just 2.6 seconds. This electric scooter has a top speed of 105 kilometers per hour. It can give a mileage of 140 kilometers once fully charged.
TVS X Powertrain
TVS According to the company, this scooter will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 km per hour in just 5.1 seconds. It will give a range of about 80 km when fully charged. Not only this, it will be equipped with fast charging system and will charge the scooter up to 80 percent within 1 hour. It will also have regenerative braking technology, due to which the scooter’s battery will be charged to some extent during braking.
Features in TVS X
According to the TVS X Crayon concept showcased at the expo, it will be based on sharp and angular design language. It will be prepared on the perimeter frame. This will be the first time in the segment, when an electric scooter will be built on this frame. It will have features like full digital instrument cluster and LED lighting system. This instrument cluster, which comes with Bluetooth connectivity, will be equipped with geofencing, GPS, cloud connectivity, park assist and anti-theft features. Battery charging status and battery health status can also be seen in this. Apart from this, it will also have features like 3 riding modes, disc brakes on both wheels and single channel antilock braking system (ABS) for braking safety.
