We are demanding special state status from the center

The Industry Minister told about the target of the state government for the industrial progress of Bihar that we will reach the top ten within three years and the top five within five years. He stressed that Bihar is ready to turn floods and all other curses into blessings. We also want to establish SEZ in the state. We are demanding special state status from the Centre. Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary of Industries Department Sandeep Poundrik requested for investment in Bihar. Informed about Bihar’s industrial strength and infrastructure through presentation. MoU signed for investment of Rs 468.5 crore in the first session

An MoU worth Rs 468.5 crore was signed in the presence of Industries Minister Sameer Kumar Mahaseth in the Textile and Leather session at the Global Investor Summit. The Industry Department has signed MoUs with three companies. Vijay Kumar Jhadh of Savi Group signed MoU with ACS Sandeep Poundrick for investment of Rs 274 crore in Madhubani district. Similarly, Suresh Kumar of Komal Group signed an MoU with the Industries Department for an investment of Rs 100.5 crore and Maa Prabhavati Textile Private Limited signed an MoU with the Industries Department for an investment of Rs 94 crore.
