A truck going towards Andar through the rail over bridge located in Nagar police station area of Siwan went out of control and crushed three motorcyclists and cyclists, due to which three people including a teacher from Chapra died on the spot. Three people have been seriously injured. After the incident, the truck driver left the truck and fled from the spot. The incident happened on Friday evening.

The dead body was sent for post mortem after convincing the people
City police station inspector Sudarshan Ram, Sarai OP in-charge Upendra Singh, sub-divisional public grievance redressal officer Abhishek Chandan and other officials reached the spot and pacified the protesting people. After which the body was taken into custody and sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

The deceased Vimlesh Kumar Singh, a resident of Avtar Nagar in Saran district, was working as a teacher in a government school. To become a regular teacher, he passed the CTET exam and came to appear in the BPSC exam. Family members told that another candidate from the family, Anupriya, was also with him. Vimlesh Kumar Singh died on the spot after being hit by the truck, while Anupriya was seriously injured. The family members were crying loudly at the spot.
