Triumph Scrambler 400X Design
The Triumph Scrambler 400X looks similar to the larger Scrambler 1200XC from some angles. The motorcycle sports a ‘Scrambler’ look with a hint of advanced classic elements. The tall stance, Metzeler Karoo dual-sport tires wrapped around cast-aluminium alloy wheels and suspension with long travel all contribute to the motorcycle looking the part of a scrambler. The mesh guard for the LED headlight, knuckle guard and bash-plate for the engine make it even more attractive.
Powerful engine of Triumph Scrambler 400X
Triumph India’s adventure motorcycle Scrambler 400 This bike is provided with 6 speed gearbox as well as slip and assist clutch. The Scrambler 400X has longer suspension and a 19-inch front wheel than the Speed 400. This bike has been given a ground clearance of 835 mm and due to this it can also be used for off-roading. Triumph Scrambler 400X Suspension and Brakes
The bike has a hybrid spine/circular tubular steel frame with a bolt-on rear subframe. It uses a 43 mm inverted big piston fork at the front and a gas-charged monoshock with remote reservoir at the rear. Both offer 150 mm of wheel travel. It is equipped with a 19-inch front wheel and a smaller 17-inch rear wheel. Both are made of aluminum alloy and come equipped with Metzeler Karoo street tires in the international model and MRF Zapper Kurve block-pattern units in the India-spec. Braking features are 300 mm disc with radial caliper at the front and 230 mm disc at the rear. Both are made by Bybre. The Scrambler 400 Its curb weight is 185 kg, which is 6 kg heavier than the international-spec model.

Triumph has started accepting pre-bookings for the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in India at Rs 2000. Triumph Scrambler 400X is expected to be priced around Rs 3.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
