He can escape to Nepal via Uttarakhand and then from there to Poland. After giving information about the entire matter to the Uttarakhand Police, a siege was conducted there also.

Meanwhile, surveillance revealed that the main accused Siraj Ahmed alias Lallan and Faraz have fled to Moradabad. On this a team of Lucknow Police left for Moradabad. When the accused came to know about this, they returned to Lucknow with the intention of surrendering in the court. Where he was arrested early on Sunday. A DBBL licensed gun and arms license has been recovered from him. Passport has also been recovered from Faraz. The rifle and Thar vehicle used in the murder have been recovered from the Mall area on the day of the incident.

18 cases are registered against the main accused Siraj

According to the police, 18 cases are registered against Siraj alias Lallan in Lucknow police station Malihabad, Chowk, Kakori, Wazirganj, Hardoi police station Behta Gokul. A case is registered against Faraz in Malihabad. Two arms licenses were also issued in the name of Siraj. Out of which one BBBL gun was released in 1980 and one NP bore rifle was released from Malihabad in 1979. In 1990, on the report of Malihabad police station in-charge, the arms license was suspended by DM Lucknow in 1992. The accused had filed a petition in the High Court against this. After this, the High Court had postponed the order of the District Magistrate and the arms license was restored.
