Trinamool leader shot dead in West Bengal, was once close to Adhir Ranjan

A leader of the ruling Trinamool Congress has been shot dead in West Bengal. It is being told that some people came riding on a bike and shot the Trinamool leader from close range. In a seriously injured condition, he was taken to Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The name of this Trinamool leader is Satyen Chaudhary. He was the district general secretary. The incident happened on Sunday (January 7) afternoon. He was shot in Chataliya, Baharampur. It is being told that Satyen Choudhary was once close to West Bengal Pradesh Congress President and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Choudhary. Later he joined Trinamool Congress. However, in recent times his distance from Trinamool Congress had increased.
