According to the ruling party of the state, the central investigating agencies are instigating in the name of investigation by visiting different areas on the orders of BJP to humiliate them. According to him, Friday morning’s incident is the result of that. As soon as the political debate started on this incident, Trinamool started making statements against BJP. Party’s state general secretary and spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said, “The Sandeshkhali incident is extremely worrying and unfortunate. But on the orders of BJP, central agencies and central forces go to various areas and conduct search operations only in the name of humiliating Trinamool. Kunal also claimed that a series of such incidents have happened in Bengal.

Kunal also attacked BJP and called opposition leader Shubhendu Adhikari a ‘registered thief’. He says that the houses of BJP leaders are not searched. Wherever BJP is not controlling its organization, common people are being instigated and attempts are being made to create ruckus. Kunal claimed that the Sandeshkhali incident is not an exception. Along with this, he requested the common people not to take such steps on anyone’s persuasion.

On the basis of investigation in the ration distribution corruption case, ED raided the house of Trinamool leader Shahjahan Sheikh in Sandeshkhali. But that house was locked. Even after calling for a long time no one answered. After waiting for about an hour, the ED investigating officers tried to break the lock of that house. At the same time many local people reached the spot. Describing himself as a follower of the Trinamool leader, he started protesting around the ED officials. A section of the local people was also accused of pushing the central forces soldiers. After this the ED officials left the spot. But even after this the angry crowd did not stop. Many people came out on the streets carrying bricks and stones. Many roads were blocked. According to ED sources, the investigators are currently in a vehicle at a ‘safe place’ on Basanti Highway. They are surrounded by Central Army soldiers.
