Trinamool Congress again seeks permission from Delhi Police to protest against ‘stoppage’ of MNREGA funds.

Trinamool Congress has again written a fresh letter to Delhi Police demanding demonstrations at three places in the national capital in early October against the alleged stopping of funds given under the Rural Employment Scheme for West Bengal by the Central Government. written. Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha member Derek O’Brien has demanded permission to hold a protest at Jantar Mantar, outside Krishi Bhawan and at the residence of Union Agriculture Minister Giriraj Singh on October 2 and 3.

Workers of Bengal state will also participate in this protest.

O’Brien, in the letters, has requested the Delhi Police to allow the Trinamool Congress to stage a sit-in outside Jantar Mantar, Krishi Bhawan and the minister’s residence from 10 am to 6 pm on October 2 and 3, in which the state of West Bengal Workers will also be included, who were allegedly deprived of wages under the MNREGA scheme.

Will protest in Delhi under the leadership of Abhishek Banerjee

Trinamool national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee will lead the protest in New Delhi. The ruling party in West Bengal had claimed in August that Delhi Police had refused permission for their protest rally in October at Ram Leela Maidan in the national capital. However, Delhi Police had said at that time that they had received a request on August 30, which they would consider.
