Train News: Train ran from Godda in Jharkhand to Gomtinagar in UP

Train News: Godda-Gomtinagar via Bhagalpur special train (03403) was flagged off from Godda station on Saturday. MP Dr Nishikant Dubey, MLA Amit Mandal along with Malda Division DRM Vikas Choubey jointly flagged off the train. The train left Godda station at its scheduled time at 14:10. The program was started by DRM by giving bouquets to MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey and MLA Amit Mandal.

Addressing the program organized on this occasion, MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey said that Godda-Gomtinagar train is the 11th train to open from Godda. Two more trains will be flagged off. In this, one train will go from Godda-Lokmanya Terminal, which will go to Mumbai and the other train will go from Godda to Deoghar via Hansdiha. He told that on March 6, he himself, along with Godda MLA Amit Mandal and Deoghar MLA Narayan Das will reach Godda by the first train running on Deoghar-Mohanpur-Hansdiha route.

The MP gave credit for the expansion of the train in Godda to PM Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. The MP said that PM Narendra Modi has laid a railway network in this backward area. The state government also gave money for the expansion of the railway from Hansdiha to Godda, but only the Central Government spent money for the expansion of the railway from Godda to Mahagama. He told that the tender from Godda to Mahagama has been done. Washing pit will soon be built in Godda.

Aastha train will open from Godda for Ayodhya on 12-13 March

Referring to the districts of Pakud, Sahibganj, Giridih etc. adjacent to Godda, the MP said that trains came here 150 years ago. MGR trains carrying coal ran in Godda, but not a single passenger train started operating from Godda. When PM Narendra Modi was elected in 2014, he emphasized on the development of railways. The MP said that today whenever someone goes to ask for a train, it is easily available. The MP said that Aastha train will be run from here to Ayodhya on 12-13 March.

Godda MLA said

Godda MLA Amit Mandal said in his address that the development of AIIMS in Deoghar and rail in Godda is the contribution of PM Narendra Modi and MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey. A new train has been gifted from Godda for the darshan of Ramlala. In the coming time, we will work to bring PM Narendra Modi and MP Dr Dubey to the country. A network of roads will be laid in Godda assembly in 2025.

DRM said

Malda Division’s DRM Vikas Choubey said that Godda is connected to the country’s capital including Kolkata, Patna etc. Currently more than 40 thousand passengers commute. The station is being constructed at a cost of more than Rs 40 crore under Amrit Bharat Yojana. Train will run from Godda to Lokmanya on March 1. A big program will be organized on 26th February. PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of a total of two thousand projects run under Railways across the country through video conferencing. The speed of Bhagalpur-Dumka section has been increased to 110 km per hour.
