Varanasi: For the convenience of railway passengers, Railways has decided to give temporary stoppage of 22415 Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat at Banaras station. 22415 Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train will arrive at Banaras station at 6.06 am from 22 to 31 December and will depart from there at 6.08 am. This train will serve 6 days of the week except Tuesday. This train of 16 coaches has 14 chair cars and 2 executive chair cars.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the second Vande Bharat Express between Varanasi and New Delhi. Regular services of 22415/22416 New Delhi-Banaras-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train started from December 20 in both directions. The second Vande Bharat Express running from Varanasi will depart in the morning. Therefore, this train will help in meeting the demand of passengers going from Varanasi to Delhi, Prayagraj or Kanpur in the morning. Whereas the earlier Vande Bharat runs from Delhi in the morning. The first Vande Bharat Express train was started in February 2019.
Operation started from 20th December
22415 Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express will depart at 6 am and reach New Delhi at 2.05 pm on the same day. In the return direction, 22416 New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express train will depart at 3 pm and reach Varanasi at 11.05 pm on the same day. This train will stop at Prayagraj and Kanpur Central stations in both directions on the route.
