Indian Railway News:Booking has started from both sides of the Barauni-Coimbatore special train running via Dhanbad. The train going to Coimbatore will remain canceled on 8th and 15th October. The return train will not run on October 11. Passengers can book tickets from October 18. Railways has extended the frequency of train number 03357 Barauni-Coimbatore special till December 9 and the frequency of 03358 Coimbatore-Barauni special train till December 13.
Many trains will stop at Kashi and Shivpur instead of Varanasi till 14th
Due to yard remodeling work in Varanasi, Railways has temporarily canceled the stoppage of some trains at Varanasi station till October 14. These include Dhanbad-Firozpur Cantt Ganga-Sutlej, Kolkata-Jammuthavi and Sealdah-Jammuthavi Humsafar Express originating from Dhanbad. These trains have been given stoppages at Kashi and Shivpur. Besides, Kolkata-Nangaldam, Kolkata-Amritsar Akaltakht Express, Howrah-Jammuthavi Himgiri Express running via Asansol, Jhajha and Patna will also stop at Kashi and Shivpur stations instead of Varanasi.
Engine of Coalfield Express failed, opened one hour late
Due to engine failure of Coalfield Express going from Dhanbad to Howrah, the train remained stopped at Dhanbad station for about an hour. Railway engineers repaired the engine after a lot of effort. After this it will open at 5.50 am Train Left for Howrah at 6.52 pm. It reached Howrah at 11.55 am, one and a half hour late.
