Many trains have been diverted and many short terminated. Due to the cancellation of these trains, the problems of the passengers going home during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath have once again increased. People travel the most in this season, especially people from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh come home during these festivals. At the same time, Railways is continuously canceling trains in the name of NI work in this season. According to Railways, due to pre-non interlocking and interlocking work for construction of third line at Ghatsila, Galudih, Rakhamines, Asanbani and Salgajhudi stations for Kharagpur-Adityapur third line project, the work has been canceled and diverted.
