Bareilly News: Passengers are facing a lot of problems due to cancellation of trains on many routes of Indian Railways. About 14 trains have been cancelled, while the routes of six trains have been changed. In such a situation, passengers have now started planning their journey afresh.
Long queue to cancel tickets
Railways suddenly canceled 14 trains passing through Bareilly, Moradabad and Shahjahanpur stations. Due to this, there is a long line of people canceling their tickets. Railways says that this train has been canceled due to non-interlocking work and rain at Bagaha-Balmiki Road station of Samastipur Railway Division of East Central Railway. At the same time, passengers who made travel plans months before the cancellation of these trains are quite worried.
These trains were canceled
15211-15212 Jannayak Express passing through Bareilly Junction has been canceled till 15th September. 15529-15530 Saharsa Anand Vihar Terminal is canceled till Thursday. 15653-15654 Guwahati-Jammuthavi Express Amarnath Express and 05537-05538 Darbhanga-Ajmer Special running between Darbhanga to Ajmer are canceled till 15th September.
Along with this, due to rain, 12470 Jammu Tawi-Kanpur Central Express was canceled on 14 September, 12469 Kanpur Central-Jammu Tawi Express on 15 September, 12491 Barauni-Jammu Tawi Express on 17 September, 12492 Jammu Tawi-Barauni Express on 17 September, 14605 Jammu Tawi-Howrah Express on 17 September, and 14606 Howrah- Jammu Tawi Express has been canceled till 18th September.
Changed routes of these trains
Railways has decided to run 12237 Varanasi-Jammuthavi Express up to Pathankot. It used to go till Jammu. Along with this, 12238 Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Express will go to Pathankot instead of Jammu station on 15th September. 15655 Kamakhya- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Express will be run with a delay of 2 hours from Kamakhya on 17th September. Gorakhpur 12587 Gorakhpur Jammu Tawi Amarnath Express will run on changed route from Jalandhar Cantt via Amritsar, Gurdaspur, and Pathankot on 18th September.
Apart from this, 12557/12558 Muzaffarpur- Anand Vihar Express will be run from Muzaffarpur, Chhapra Dhabe, Kaptanganj route. 15273/15274 Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminal Satyagraha Express will be operated from Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Chapra Kaptanganj. 12212 Anand Vihar Muzaffarpur Garib Rath Express and 12211 Muzaffarpur Anand Vihar Garib Rath Express will run from Gorakhpur Chhapra Siwan Gorakhpur.
Will get relief from ticket waiting, additional coaches will be installed in 14 trains
Waiting has started in the trains passing through Bareilly Junction even before the beginning of the festival. Passengers are very upset due to this. But now the Railways has decided to install additional coaches in 14 trains before the festival. This will provide confirmed berths. There are preparations to install additional coaches in 14205/14206 Ayodhya Express, 14207/14208 Faizabad Express, 04376/04375 Bareilly Aligarh Express, and 04378/04377 Bareilly-Aligarh Special Express.
Preparation to run Ramnagar-Agra Fort Express regularly
Preparations are being made to run Izzat Nagar Railway Division’s Ramnagar-Agra Fort Express regularly. This was done in the meeting of the Consumer Advisory Committee of the Railway Board. Along with this, a demand was raised to regularize the operation of Tanakpur-Mathura Express. This will provide a lot of convenience to the passengers. Along with this, a demand was also raised to start the underpass of the city cremation ground and Chaudhary Talab crossing soon.
