An auto laden with passengers collided with a crane in Patna on Tuesday. 7 people died in this accident. A child is also included among the dead. It is being told that the auto hit the crane engaged in the construction work of Patna Metro. The collision was so strong that the auto was blown to pieces. 4 people died on the spot. While three people died during treatment in the hospital. The accident happened at around 4.45 in the morning on Ramlakhan Path of Kankarbagh police station area.
Umesh Kumar of Rohtas is also included among the dead. Whereas Mukesh’s wife and two children died in this accident. A one and a half year old child is also among those who died. Post mortem of all the dead is being conducted in PMCH. There is an uproar among the families of the deceased after this accident.
According to the information received, everyone boarded the auto and left to catch the bus from the railway station. The auto was going from Mithapur towards Zeromile early in the morning. The auto was full of passengers. Meanwhile, work was being done with cranes for metro construction on the way. The auto reached near the crane and there was a massive collision between the two. In the accident, 4 people died on the spot.
The dead include 3 men, 3 women and a child. There is information that one person is seriously injured. These passengers were residents of Rohtas, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur and Vaishali. As soon as information about this matter was received, the police team also reached the spot and is busy investigating the matter.
