7-seater urban cruiser Hyrider
Toyota is going to introduce its old model Urban Cruiser Highrider with third row repetition, which can be developed on the platform of Maruti Suzuki Y17. This upcoming new car with its 5-seater design will share many similarities with the 7-seater Hyrider Y17 and the seven-seater Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. A 1.5-litre powerful hybrid petrol engine can be used in it. Along with this, it is likely to get 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol.
Toyota Fortuner Mild Hybrid
Toyota is gradually introducing the mild-hybrid variant of the HiLux pickup truck in the global market. Along with this, it has started preparations to launch the mild-hybrid variant of Fortuner in the market. Fortuner is a very popular brand of Toyota in India. Considering its popularity, it has planned to introduce its mild hybrid variant. Apart from mild hybrid system, this upcoming vehicle can come with GD series diesel engine option.

Toyota’s upcoming electric car may be based on Maruti Suzuki’s EVX technology. The company can launch it in India during the first half of 2025. This will be a 5-seat midsize electric SUV which is expected to be provided with a 60 kWh battery pack. Once fully charged, it can get a range of about 550 km. It can be sold in the market with single and dual electric motor setup.

This new car of Toyota will be a compact SUV coupe based on the platform of Maruti Suzuki. Its sale will be started in the coming months. Slight differences may be seen in its design compared to its donor. It will be powered by the same 1.2 liter NA petrol and 1.0 liter turbo petrol engines as the Ford Figo. Its interior will also be like that of Frontex.
