Toyota Urban Cruiser Tasor: Japanese car manufacturer Toyota is going to launch its new micro SUV car Urban Cruiser Taser based on Maruti Suzuki in India on 3rd April. The company has developed this car on the platform of Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser in collaboration with Maruti’s Japanese company Suzuki and it is being produced in India only. This is not the first time that Toyota and Maruti are going to launch a model in the market with mutual cooperation. Even before this, Maruti has introduced models like Grand Vitara and Brezza in front of the customers in the market in collaboration with Toyota. Come, let us know about this new model of Toyota.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser Price and Variants

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser will be available in multiple variants, which include S, S AT, G, G AT, V, S Hybrid, V AT, V AW, G Hybrid, V Hybrid and S CNG options. Its price in ex-showroom India is expected to be around Rs 12.53 lakh. At the same time, it will compete with Tata Punch and Hyundai Exeter in the market.

Interior Features of Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser

Talking about the interior features of Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser, it can be provided with letter covered steering wheels, 360 degree camera, head-up display, cruise control, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, 6-speaker sound system. Apart from this, it can also include fast USB charging point, rearview camera, colored instrument cluster, wireless smartphone connectivity, 9.0-inch touchscreen infosystem, virus assist OTA and 6 airbags for the safety of the passengers.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser Engine

Toyota’s Urban Cruiser Taser SUV can come with two petrol engine options. Its first option is a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine, which is capable of generating 90 bhp power and 113 Nm torque. It is paired with 5-speed manual transmission. The second option is 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine, which generates 100 bhp power and 147 Nm torque. This engine comes with 6-speed torque converter support.

Now if we talk about Maruti Front, then it is available between Rs 7.51 lakh to Rs 13.04 lakh in ex-showroom. It comes in total five variants Sigma, Delta, Delta Plus, Zeta and Alpha. CNG option is given in its Sigma and Delta variants. It is available in three dual-tone and six monotone colors. Maruti Franks is a five seater car. Two engine options are given in it. Its first engine is a 1-litre turbo petrol Boosterjet, which generates maximum power of 100PS and peak torque of 148Nm with mild-hybrid technology.

The second engine of Maruti’s micro SUV Frontx is 1.2-litre DualJet petrol, which is capable of generating maximum power of 90PS and peak torque of 113Nm. The option of 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox has been given with its turbo engine, while the option of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox has been given with the naturally aspirated engine. The CNG variants of this SUV have a 1.2-litre petrol engine. However, its power output in CNG mode is 77.5PS and 98.5Nm. Only 5-speed manual gearbox is provided in Front CNG.
