The Ping An International Finance Center, completed in 2017, is considered the tallest building in Shenzhen, the second tallest building in China, and the fourth tallest building in the world. The building has about 100 office floors, apart from retail and conference space, which can accommodate about 15,500 employees and about 9,000 other people.
Lotte World Tower
Featuring the world’s largest indoor theme park, outdoor park, luxury hotel, theatre, shopping mall and Korean Folk Museum, Seoul’s Lotte World tower is the fifth tallest building in the world. Located in the densely populated Seoul-Songpa district of the city, this fifth tallest building in the world is also the tallest building in South Korea.
One World Trade Center
One World Trade Center, popularly known as Freedom Tower, is the main building of the World Trade Center located in Manhattan, New York. It is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, with a height of 1,776 feet. The world’s sixth tallest building was designed by David Childs and his firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM).
Guangzhou CTF Finance Center
The 1,739 feet high Guangzhou West Tower in Guangzhou, China has multiple uses, including housing offices, residential space, hotel and conference areas on 111 floors. This building, built in 2010, is the third tallest building in China.
Tianjin CTF Finance Center
The historic Tianjin CTF Finance Center is the 7th tallest building in the world and is 1,739 feet tall. The 97-storey tower houses several A-class offices, luxury apartments and a five-star Rosewood Hotel. It is the second tallest building in Tianjin after Goldin Finance 117.

China Zoo is the second of Beijing’s skyscraper CITIC Tower. The building was constructed by one of the world’s renowned architecture firms – Arup and the tower was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), who have previously designed many landmark buildings.

Located in the Hsin Yi district of Taipei in Taiwan, the famous Taipei 101 was formerly known as Taipei World Financial Center. Taipei is named Taipei 101 because it has 101 floors, which is just one floor less than the very famous Empire State Building. With a towering height of 1,667 feet, the building also houses offices, retail shops and two of the world’s fastest elevators.
