According to the forecast of IMD, for the next two days till Monday and Tuesday, there are chances of moderate to moderate rain in different parts of the state and heavy rain at one or two places. During this, there is also a possibility of thunder and hailstorm at some places. During this, wind can also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Chance of thunderstorms on Monday as well

Due to the formation of a center of powerful low air pressure created due to cyclonic circulation, the entire group of clouds passed through Bhojpur, Gopalganj, Champaran from one o’clock in the afternoon and crossed Darbhanga in the north till five o’clock in the evening. On Monday, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in general in entire Bihar, especially in Bihar. It rained in many parts of the state including the capital Patna on Sunday. Hail has also occurred in limited areas.

Normal to moderate rains have occurred in Bhojpur, Patna, Rohtas, Vaishali, Saran, Begusarai, Darbhanga, Munger, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Arwal, Jehanabad, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Aurangabad, Gopalganj, Siwan and East Champaran on Sunday. According to the information, in Bihar these days the freezing level remains at a height of three kilometers in the sky, but on Sunday the freezing level had come down to between three and two kilometers. That’s why hail has fallen at some places.

Temperature dropped from two to six degree Celsius

Due to the sudden change in the weather, a significant drop in day temperature has been recorded in South-Western, Central Bihar and adjoining areas of Terai. In southern Bihar, the day’s temperature fell from two to six degrees Celsius. The day temperature for the next two days is likely to remain below normal in almost the entire Bihar. According to meteorologists, the day temperature is forecast to be below normal in the first week of May.
