Three vehicles loaded with animals seized in Koderma, 13 people arrested

Koderma: Police has tightened its grip on animal smuggling through Koderma. Based on the information received by SP Anudeep Singh, the police of Koderma and Chandwara police station have seized three vehicles loaded with animals, while a total of 13 accused have been arrested in this case. Gaya Chandwara Police has arrested five accused, 23 year old Md Eklaq Khan (father late Usman Khan), 24 year old Md Ragiv Khan (father Md Moraj Khan), 21 year old Ahmed Raza (father Aftab Khan, all three residents of Turuk Bigha police station Kachma Rohtas Bihar), 62 year old Mohd. Shahid Naiki alias Sheikh Shahid (father Isaac, resident of Alam Bazaar police station, Nagar Bazar, Kolkata) and 28 year old Mohd. Bhutali Khan (father Mohd. Mumtaz Khan, resident of Jonahi police station, Vikramganj, Rohtas, Bihar).

Koderma police has arrested eight accused, including Azad Kumar Yadav (father late Girani Prasad Yadav resident Mahanandapur police station Nemdarganj Nawada), Arshad Khan (father Anwar Khan resident Turk Bigha police station Nasriganj Rohtas), Manoj Rai (father Rajkumar Rai resident Lodhipur police station Maner Patna), Dhananji Singh (father late Chhathu Singh resident Sahardih, police station Tarari Bhojpur), Shahnawaz Khan (father late Idrish Khan resident Rabda police station Pratappur Chatra), Mohd Afsar Ali (father Ali Hasan Khan resident Sherghati Gaya), Inspector Rai (father late Ramsurat Rai resident of Hathi Tola police station Manair Patna), Gopal Kumar (father Virendra Ram resident of Karakat police station Gurari Rohtas Bihar).

According to the information, SP had received information that animals were being smuggled in three trucks through Koderma/Tilaiya/Chandwara police station area. On information, a raid team was formed under the leadership of SI Abdullah Khan. The team took action. At 10:30 am, two vehicles (JH09AM-0263 and BR26GA-1097) were seized from Taraghanti (Koderma police station area). These vehicles were loaded with 30 buffaloes, 18 buffalo calves, six cows and four calf calves, while in Chandwara area A 14 wheeler truck (CG04MJ-7347) was seized. 11 buffaloes, five cows, seven cows and four calves were loaded on this truck. In this regard, the police registered Koderma police station case number 46/24 and Chandwara police station case number 15/24. The raiding team included Koderma police station incharge Sujit Kumar, Chandwara police station incharge Arvind Kumar, technical branch incharge Abdullah Khan and police force personnel.
