Three IPS officers transferred in UP, ADG Ashok Kumar removed after protest by women employees of Dial 112

Lucknow News: Before Diwali, there has been a major reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh Police. Three IPS officers have been transferred. Action has been taken against ADG Ashok Kumar Singh after the protest by women contract workers in the emergency number dial 112 service in the state. He has been attached to the police headquarters. Along with this, the responsibility of Dial 112 has been handed over to Neera Rawat. At the same time, the stature of DG Cooperative Anand Kumar has once again increased. He has been made DG of Crime Investigation Department. The protest by women contract workers posted in Dial 112 continues in the capital Lucknow. He spent Tuesday night at the protest site, Echo Garden. While going to surround the CM residence, the police took them into custody on Tuesday and took them to Eco Garden. After this, the protesting women are there. He has accused the officers of misbehaving. He says that efforts are being made to exclude women employees. Women employees posted on contract in Dial 112 service continued protesting with their demands on Tuesday also. These women employees are deployed as communication officers in the Emergency Response Support System. He expressed fear that he might be fired from his job due to change of company.

He demanded that the new company should issue appointment letters to the already working employees. Apart from this, women workers also demanded increase in salary. After noon the protesting women decided to present their demands before the Chief Minister. After this the women started going towards 5 Kalidas Marg, the official residence of the CM in the capital Lucknow. But, the police stopped them. When the protesting women did not agree, they were taken into custody and sent to the Echo Gordon protest site. During this, the women workers accused the police of misbehaving with them. She said that she wanted to go to the Chief Minister’s residence peacefully. But, he was not allowed to go and was forcibly put on a bus to Echo Gordon.
