Three big hospitals will open in and around Patna. In the 48th meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board held under the chairmanship of the Development Commissioner, the first clearance has been given to investment proposals worth more than 1117 crores. In these, the proposal to open 1000 beds in Dhanrua, 100 beds in Rupaspur of Khagaul and 300 beds in Bihta has been approved.

Among the proposals that have been approved, maximum investment has come in the health care sector. Apart from this, maximum 14 investment proposals worth 210 crores have come in the field of food processing. A 1000 bed super specialty hospital has been proposed at Dhanrua in Patna. An investment of 253 crores is proposed in this.

Hospital proposal in Patna, Bhagalpur and other districts

There is a proposal to build a hospital of 82 crores to 300 beds in Mega Industrial Park located in Bihta. A 100-bed hospital is proposed for Rs 19.44 crore in Rupaspur of Patna itself. 107 crore to 450 beds in Saran’s Garkha, 10 crore to 100 beds in Pokhriyal, Champaran, 9 crore to 106 beds in Muzaffarpur and 65 beds are proposed in Bhagalpur at a cost of eight crores. Apart from this, another hospital is also proposed in Patna.

Other proposals including gold biscuit plant

According to the information, there is a proposal to set up a gold biscuit plant in Patna’s Sikandarpur industrial area with a cost of Rs 99 crore. Presipe Limited is going to propose an investment of 168 crores in Begusarai industrial area. 180 crore in plastic and rubber sector, 96 crore in rice mill sector, 51 crore in general manufacturing sector, 9 crore in textile, 4 crore in tourism sector, investment proposals worth more than 15 crore in wooden furniture sector have come. Other proposals are of 551 crores. Apart from this, 32 investment proposals worth more than two crores have been approved in this meeting.
