According to the information, a bomb has been reported in a Spice Jet flight coming from Darbhanga to Delhi. As soon as the information was received, full emergency was declared at IGI Airport. After investigating the plane, the police said that this call was a hoax. Police is investigating the caller. According to the information received from the agencies, this phone call came in the control room of Delhi’s IGI International Airport on Wednesday, after which there was a stir there.

Bomb threat received in SpiceJet flight SG 8946

SpiceJet spokesperson said that today a phone call was received in the control room of IGI Airport. The caller had threatened to bomb the SpiceJet flight coming from Darbhanga to Delhi. This flight was about to land at IGI Airport. However, during investigation this call was found to be fake. He said that necessary security protocols were followed keeping in mind the safety of the passengers. There was a bomb threat on SpiceJet flight SG 8946. Till now the caller has not been identified. The police is investigating the matter.

According to the information, the flight landed safely at IGI Airport at 6 pm. After this the plane was taken to a different place and parked. The passengers have been evacuated safely and security agencies are conducting a thorough search of the aircraft. Earlier in the month of November last year, there was a threat to bomb Mumbai’s International Airport. This threat came through an email. The sender of the mail had demanded a payment of 1 million dollars within 48 hours to avert the blast, that too in Bitcoin. It was further said in the email that if the amount is not given in Bitcoin then the situation will be bad.
