Ranchi: The moon of Eid-ul-Fitr was visible in the capital Ranchi on Wednesday at 07:10 pm. As soon as the moon was visible, people thanked Allah and congratulated each other on Eid. Since this morning, Eid-ul-Fitr prayers are being offered in Eidgahs and mosques. As soon as the Eid moon appeared, people celebrated by bursting fireworks. Eid prayers have been started from Thursday morning itself. Namaz will be offered at Ranchi Eidgah located on Harmu Road at 10 am. Here Maulana Dr. Asghar Misbahi will lead Namaz. Before the namaz he will give the message of Eid. On the other hand, preparations have been completed for namaz in Eidgahs and mosques. Eidgahs have been decorated with colorful bulbs.
Fair held in Karbala Chowk:
On the occasion of Eid, an Eid fair is organized in Karbala Chowk. Many stalls ranging from children’s swings to food stalls have been set up here. In these, special shops of Eid dishes along with toys have been decorated. Since Wednesday evening, after the Eid moon was visible, people were seen coming out of their homes and enjoying the fair.
Those who completed Itekaf welcomed
After staying in the mosque for the last 10 days of Ramzan and completing I’tikaf, he was welcomed when he came out. In the last Ashra of Ramadan month, people stay in mosques for Itekaf. During this time, people leave their personal lives and spend their time in solitude worshiping Allah. People sitting in I’tikaf come out of the mosque only when the moon of Shawwal month is visible. During their visit to the mosque, people stay away from home, family and other worldly life and things. Adare Sharia official welcomed Haji Saeed Kausar Asadki, A Alam and others sitting in Itekaf at Masjid Jama Abu Bakar Doranda. This included the prominent Nazim of Edare Sharia, Maulana Qutubuddin Rizvi and others.

On the occasion of Eid, Savaiya, Khirni Mix, Kesar Pista, Dry Fruits and Khowa were purchased to welcome the people. Seeing the rising temperature, flavored drinks, Falooda, Rooh Afza and Sherbet were also sold.
