Jharkhand News: The problem of traffic jam in the capital Ranchi has not been resolved even this year. This has become an everyday problem. Apart from office hours, people face traffic jam for two hours every day. Now people add two hours of traffic to the eight hours of work and consider it to be ten hours. People are wasting a lot of time getting stuck in traffic. Not only this, people’s health is also being affected by breathing in dust and smoke due to being stuck in traffic for a long time. People are suffering from respiratory problems.
No special plan has been made to deal with the traffic jam
No specific plan was made to deal with the traffic jam in the capital. Only encroachment was removed to get rid of the jam. Traffic police officials say that no special plan has been made to improve the traffic system in the capital. To get rid of the jam, action is taken only against encroachment and no parking vehicles on the main road. In 2022, the High Court was in Doranda. Seeing the traffic jam while some judges were passing through the main road, the High Court had used its stick. After that former SSP Kishore Kaushal became serious. After removing the encroachment, a plan was made to take action against the concerned police station in case of encroachment again, but it remained in vain. New SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha came, he himself entered the main road to clear the jam. The situation remained fine for two days, after which the situation became the same again.
E-rickshaw stands built at every square, disrupting traffic
Six thousand e-rickshaws in the capital have become a headache for the police administration. Common people are troubled by this. Not only on the main road, drivers are troubled by the outbreak of e-rickshaws on every road. E-rickshaw stands have been built at every road junction, which is the biggest cause of traffic jam. E-rickshaw stands have been built in Chadri Chowk, Jail Chowk, Kachari Chowk, Commissioner Chowk, Sarjana Chowk, Bariatu Chowk, Kokar Chowk, Tiril Chowk, RIMS Chowk, Harmu Chowk and the road leading from New Market to Harmu.
Jam problem persists due to flyover construction
Ranchi People are suffering from road jam due to Kantatoli flyover being built for years. There is traffic jam due to their construction work. Due to Kantatoli flyover, the condition of the road from Kokar to Bahu Bazar has also become dilapidated. People walk on this road under compulsion, because the condition of the main road is also not very good in terms of jam. Due to the construction of Mekan and Ratu Road flyovers, people travel long distances, but do not want to get stuck in road jams.
